ID# A1020561 – Mahotchkis is a 16 year old, Gray Tabby, Domestic Longhair mix. Mahotchkis is a lovely senior girl who quietly and politely asks for attention. She is a mellow cat in search of a vacant lap. She enjoys the company of people and other felines. If you would like to meet Mahotchkis to see if she could be a good match, stop in at the Eastside shelter.

ID# A1842398 – Zuppa, is a 1 year old, Brown, German Shepherd mix. How can you resist this cute face? I am a young active guy – ready to be your partner in every way! Hikes, long walks, a hop in the kiddie pool, it’s all in my wheelhouse. Let’s start making memories together! I am currently at the Eastside shelter if you would like to meet me!

OTHER AWD NEWS:

The City of Albuquerque Animal Welfare Department is offering to microchip dogs and cats for FREE. The offer is good to all Albuquerque residents. The free service will be available from June 1 through July 3, 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., at the Westside and Eastside shelters. No appointment is needed. You must be at least 18 years old and have a valid ID to microchip your pets. The microchip will be registered to the ID holder. The information listed at the time of microchipping will be the guide to finding you if the animal is ever lost or recovered. It is essential to ensure that the details linked to your pet’s microchip remain up-to-date so the pet can be successfully identified.
