He is an impressively, patient, calm boy for a shy dog. He takes treats gently but he is still learning how to be introduced to strangers and would very much appreciate someon who has patience and is willing to work with him thru his shyness. AWD shelter locations will conduct animal viewing and adoptions through a first come, first serve basis. To view and/or adopt pets, simply arrive at either of the open location. This is in an effort for AWD to continue with its mission to save animal lives and also comply with social distancing recommendations. When it is your turn, you will be contacted and advised to enter. You will have no more than 45 minutes in which to meet a maximum of three pets and process the adoption paperwork.
All adoptions will take place at AWD’s Eastside and Westside facilities and The Everyday Adoption Center inside Petsmart. Lucky Paws inside Coronado mall remains closed.
