The Edge Pet of The Week 5/25

ID# A1827479 – Iago is a 2 year old, Tan, Domestic Mediumhair mix. Iago is a big, beautiful buff colored boy who is relaxed and happy when he is around people. He is a purr machine and will lie down beside his human companion, put a possessive paw on your leg and look up longingly for pets. What more could you want from a feline companion? He is available and waiting for adoption at the Eastside shelter.

ID# A1827111 – Anzai, is a 1 year-old, Black, American Pit Bull Terrier mix. Anzai is a gentle, sweet and loving boy. He is on the shy side especially at first but warms up quickly. He is a breeze to walk on leash, sits on command, and takes treats gently. This young, happy, handsome and cuddly guy is waiting patiently for his forever family. Come and meet Anzai today at the Eastside shelter.

AWD shelter locations will conduct animal viewing and adoptions through a first come, first serve basis. To view and/or adopt pets, simply arrive at either of the open location. This is in an effort for AWD to continue with its mission to save animal lives and also comply with social distancing recommendations. Anyone wanting to adopt a pet visit our website at www.cabq.gov/pets to see available pets.
