ID# A1824865 – Grizzly is a 1 year-old, Tan, German Shepherd mix. Grizzly is a shy guy that just needs time to warm up to you. He is a quiet and mellow fellow. Some would say that he is very intelligent, trainable and loving. He is pretty good on leash for a young guy, he loves to play and especially likes being chased. Grizzly is affectionate and gives great kisses. If you would like to visit him, come by the Eastside shelter and join the virtual line.

AWD shelter locations will conduct animal viewing and adoptions through a first come, first serve basis. This will be accomplished by signing up for a virtual line. To view and/or adopt pets, simply arrive at either of the open location. This is in an effort for AWD to continue with its mission to save animal lives and also comply with social distancing recommendations. When it is your turn, you will be contacted and advised to enter. You will have no more than 45 minutes in which to meet a maximum of three pets and process the adoption paperwork.
All adoptions will take place at AWD’s Eastside an Westside facilities and The Everyday Adoption Center inside Petsmart. Lucky Paws inside Coronado mall remains closed.
