ID# A1810332 – Henry is a 1 year old, Brindle, Australian Cattle Dog mix.  Henry is a young, people loving pup and he is excited to find a new home, in fact, he is just excited about life period. He gets along well with dogs that have the same temperament. He has got the cutest head tilt when he is curious and he has many kisses and paw shakes to give. If you are looking for a great dog to call your own, visit Henry at the Eastside shelter, by way of signing up to the virtual line.

OTHER AWD NEWS: 

AWD’s Eastside and Westside shelter locations will conduct animal viewing and adoptions through a first come, first serve basis. This will be accomplished by signing up for a virtual line. To view and/or adopt pets, simply arrive at either of the open location. This is in an effort for AWD to continue with its mission to save animal lives and also comply with social distancing recommendations. Anyone wanting to adopt a pet is asked to visit www.cabq.gov/pets to see available pets and to call 311 to schedule an adoption appointment.

Eastside Adoption Center, 8920 Lomas Blvd NE; 10:30 to 6, closed Monday and Wednesday is set aside for high risk individuals

Westside Adoption Center, 11800 Sunset Gardens SW; 10:30 to 6, closed Mondays

When it is your turn, you will be contacted and advised to enter. You will have no more than 45 minutes in which to meet a maximum of three pets and process the adoption paperwork.

All adoptions will take place at AWD’s Eastside and Westside facilities, The Everyday Adoption Center inside Petsmart and Lucky Paws inside Coronado mall remain closed.
