ID# A1816437 –Lilly is a 14 year old, Seal point, Siamese mix. Lilly is a beautiful, senior Siamese kitty. She is friendly with everyone who visits and contrary to Siamese expectations, she is not much of a kitty conversationalist. She is a quiet girl, who would like a quiet home. Lilly enjoys a leisurely stroll and taking in the scenery, but mostly enjoys spending quality time with a loving human companion. If you would like to Meet Lilly, contact 311 to set up an appointment at the Eastside shelter.

ID# A1816833 – Pookie is a 2 year-old, Tan, Chihuahua mix. Are you looking for an adorable, loving little lap dog to have as your companion? Meet Pookie, she is a gentle little girl, who is patiently waiting to find a home where she will be loved and cared for. The special thing to know about Pookie is that her head gently tilts all the time as if she is trying to give you her attention, little does she know that it is what will steal your heart. Pookie is currently living at the Everyday Adoption Center, located inside of Petsmart at 350 Eubank NE. Simply, stop by the Everyday Adoption Center and sign up to get in line to meet her.

The east side shelter (8920 Lomas Blvd NE) will continue to require animal viewing by appointment. See appointment scheduler below.

Currently, the Everyday Adoption Center inside the Eubank Petsmart (350 Eubank Blvd NE) and the Westside shelter (11800 Sunset Gardens SW), adoption appointments will no longer be taken. To view and/or adopt pets, simply arrive at either location. The EAC opens at 10, West side opens at 11. The last customer will be assisted no later than 4:15. A QR code at the door that will put you “in line” to enter the facility. When it is your turn, you will be contacted and advised to enter. You will have no more than 45 minutes in which to meet a maximum of three pets and process the adoption paperwork. Both westside shelter and the EAC are closed on Mondays. The east side shelter (8920 Lomas Blvd NE) will continue to require animal viewing by appointment.

AWD will continue with its mission to save animal lives and also comply with social distancing recommendations.

All adoptions will take place at AWD’s Eastside and Westside facilities and the Everyday Adoption Center, located inside of Petsmart at 350 Eubank NE.
