America's favorite cheese is actually NOT American cheese.
A survey came out and, from the report in the New York Post, 24 states picked cheddar to make it our overall favorite cheese. There's also mozzarella, Gouda, Havarti, Colby, all of those did better than American cheese. That was only chosen as the favorite of one state: Delaware.
