Jimmy Eat World is hitting the road to celebrate a major milestone as the band has announced their "Bleed American 25th Anniversary Tour," commemorating the album that catapulted them to mainstream success back in 2001.

According to the band's official website, the tour is a heartfelt thank you to fans who have supported them for the past quarter-century. "Bleed American found its way into a lot of lives. None of us were thinking in terms of 5 years, let alone 25 years. If you were ever in the crowd singing along to these songs with us, this tour is for you," the band shared.

Lead vocalist and guitarist Jim Adkins explained that the tour represents an opportunity to savor the moment. "This tour is designed to be an elevated version of our show, a heightened experience with production that reflects 25 years of learning how to stretch artistically in the live environment," he said.

Fans can expect to hear the entire Bleed American album performed live, along with additional surprises. The tour will feature an impressive lineup of special guests on select dates, including Rise Against, Hot Mulligan, Sunny Day Real Estate, Thrice, Motion City Soundtrack, and several other notable acts.

The anniversary tour will visit major venues across North America, including Brooklyn Paramount, MGM Music Hall at Fenway in Boston, and Chase Field in Phoenix. International dates are also planned with shows at venues like The Piece Hall in Halifax, UK and Cardiff Castle in Wales.

Jimmy Eat World formed in 1993 as a punk trio and evolved their sound over the years. Their breakthrough came with Bleed American, which featured the hit single "The Middle," and the band has maintained a dedicated following through subsequent albums like Futures, Chase This Light, and Invented.

Drummer Zach Lind views the anniversary tour as a second chance to show appreciation to the fans who have provided their livelihood for 25 years. For longtime supporters and new listeners alike, the tour promises to be a celebration of an album that defined a generation of alternative rock fans.
