From the frantic audio of his wife saying he ran out of gas to those who witnessed the accident, we now have a better understanding of the tragic night that Dwayne Haskins Jr died
Dwayne Haskins' wife, Kalabrya Haskins, told the 911 dispatcher that she had just talked to her husband who had ran out of gas and was stranded on the side of the road. Kalabrya was worried because she was unable to reach her husband, citing that his phone had died while they were talking.
Other calls to 911 dispatchers include frantic witnesses saying they saw a black man get hit by a car and then a dump truck.
Such a tragic accident, ending a life far too early. Sending love and strength to Dwayne Haskins Jr's loved ones. May he Rest In Peace.
The first of three memorial services for Haskins will take place in Pittsburgh on Friday at 11 a.m. at Allegheny Center Alliance Church. There will also be a service Saturday at noon at Christ Church in Rockaway Township, New Jersey, and at Bullis School in Potomac, Maryland, on Sunday.
