Getting to talk to not one but two of my favorite musicians was a solid day at work!
Aaron Bruno from AWOLNATION and Tim McIlrath of Rise Against joined me for a really fun chat about their version of Midnight Oil's "Beds Are Burning", the random songs on the new AWOLNATION covers record My Echo, My Shadow, My Covers & Me, knowing all of the videos on MTV, asking Steve Perry to be on the album and how Tim's college degree is coming along! Oh, and Rise Against playing on the same show with Guns n' Roses, we mentioned that too!
