ID# A1814990 – Rex, is a 3 year-old, Brown, Alaskan Husky mix and ID# A1827197 - Bebe is a 3 year old, white, American Pit Bull Terrier Mix. Bebe and Rex were surrendered when their owner passed away. They love each other very much and would love nothing more than to go home together. They are both pretty good on leash, know sit and Rex knows down. They enjoy lots of cuddles and kisses and play well with eachother. Meeting new people is always fun and they both seem to be comfortable around other dogs. If you would like to keep this special duo together, come and visit them at the Eastside shelter, and take them home.

AWD shelter locations will conduct animal viewing and adoptions through a first come, first serve basis. This will be accomplished by signing up for a virtual line. To view and/or adopt pets, simply arrive at either of the open location. This is in an effort for AWD to continue with its mission to save animal lives and also comply with social distancing recommendations. When it is your turn, you will be contacted and advised to enter. You will have no more than 45 minutes in which to meet a maximum of three pets and process the adoption paperwork.
All adoptions will take place at AWD’s Eastside and Westside facilities and The Everyday Adoption Center inside Petsmart. Lucky Paws inside Coronado mall remains closed.
